Joe Carroll is a passionate problem solver and container evangelist. He cut his teeth spending five years as a solution architect for enterprise database applications, then moved into Product Management.  He currently works for InterSystems – a 40 year old, $700 million dollar database company – and is in the trenches during their transformation to a cloud-first, container-first strategy. Joe has experience speaking on a wide range of technical and non-technical subjects related to cloud, containers, and databases. When he isn’t at a bash shell he enjoys long walks on the beach, piña coladas (hold the rain), woodworking, and BBQ.
